Question

Concerned and have no one to confide in..

Hi all,
I am a new user and hoping I can pick your brains. Unfortunately I find it hard to speak to anyone (excluding my DH) about ttc because i fear the extra pressure it will put on my shoulders from high expectations put on me.

We have been trying to conceive for 3-4months now after being on the pill. My first cycle was bang on time (withdrawal bleeding), my second cycle was 7 days late. My 3rd cycle came at day 19. And now I am at day 21 and I have encountered some spotting.

I was like clockwork before i was on the pill, i have been on the pill for a year. I started using OPK tests on my 3rd cycle to help me figure out my O day as i have become irregular. That cycle, i barely got close to a positive and i was testing consistently. Now, this month, i have tested even more to make sure i don't miss my O day, and i haven't gotten a dark/darker line then the control line. Just "darker lines'. Now I am spotting..
Im concerned my body forgot how to O, what are your though

It took me 6 months for me periods to return to 'normal' after going off the pill, but I was on it for a lot longer than you. They still are not completely regular which is making it very difficult as am ttc

Hi it can take 6 months to a year for cycles to go back to normal depending on how long you have been on it for some people can get pregnant straight away but we're not all that lucky, have you tried the clear blue ovulation tests I'm using them there so easy to ready were trying for baby number 3 if it happens took me 4 years trying for my little girl she's 2 now my oldest is 12 xx

Thanks for your feedback! i buy the cheap OPK tests from eBay, do you think the clear blue OPK are better at detecting or just easier to interpret?
Its definitely frustrating not being able to understand whats going on with your body.

It took my body 8 months to regulate after birth control. I wasn't even ovulating it was so bad. Just hang in there - your body is trying to regulate hormones and it will get there. Just try to be patient. It's possible you're also not ovulating and its not fault tests.
