Should I hold my urine for awhile before opk?

Hi everyone,
This is my first month using opk dip sticks. I know it's recommended to test around the same time everyday, but what about urine hold? Similar to a pregnancy test? Or will the test pick up the hormone either way? Will the color of the line vary due to this?

You can take it at anytime and still get very valid results. I have a strong positive today. O about to happen with the next 16-24 hours. No need to hold urine. Hope this helps.

Hold ur urine for an hour or two. If u surge the bare minimum and have no hold, or too much fluid intake, u will miss the surge. Test twice a day until u get ur positive.
