Can you ovulate on CD 7? Just got my OPK positive.
I had a chemical pregnancy last month so my cycle is off this month I had a period on march 28th for 5 days and then another period starting on April 11th lasting another 5 days. Both extremely heavy. My cycles have always been 28-29 day cycles and I've never experienced having 2 periods in one month. 2 days after I stopped bleeding, I started cramping like I always do when I ovulate so I took a OPK thinking it would definitely be negative and it was pretty dark so I took another one that night (CD 7) and the test line was just as dark as the control line. I'm on CD 10 today and the test line is finally looking a little lighter but still looks positive to me. Has anyone else ever experienced this before? I'm not sure what's going on. I took a HPT just to make sure and it was negative. My cycles just all messed up. I usually ovulate around CD 15 and once I get my positive OPK the line starts getting lighter the next day. Thank you ladies in advance:)

If I were you, I would bring this up to your doctor. Not trying to scare you but if you could talk to them about it sooner rather than later, you might get some answers and not waste any more time. Early ovulation is not desirable as your endometrium needs to thicken before the egg gets fertilized. Otherwise it won't "stick" to the lining. However, the fact that you have very heavy periods is another sign that there might be something going on with your endometrium. That being said, lots of ladies ovulate before cycle day 10 and go on to have healthy pregnancies so you could be one of those ladies. Asking your doctor couldn't hurt though. Just to be sure. Good luck!
