If I ovulated late, does this affect when my period will start?
Hi all!
I usually have a 33-34 day cycle. This past cycle, I ovulated on CD 21, and am now on CD 35, so 14dpo. All pregnancy tests are negative, but I'm having no signs that I'm starting my period (usually I'll have some spotting by now). Since I ovulated later in the cycle, does that mean my period will likely be off? I was on Clomid and did a trigger shot this month too, but I did that last month, and started on CD 33 like usual. I should have started by at least yesterday, so I'm just not sure what to expect now or if it's normal because of the later ovulation. Any input is appreciated. :) Thanks all!

Ah ok, I was thinking u meant cd21 for the previous cycle. K, gotcha. I assume ur counting O as 24-36hrs after u triggered? With clomid, it can add a day or two to ur luteal phase becuz it increases progesterone levels. So u may need to wait another day or so, but it shouldn't go past 16dpo. If it does, then O is off or u may be pregnant but have levels that aren't quite high enough in urine to be detected by tests yet. If u get to that point, I'd def give ur Dr a call to make sure everything is OK.
