Could it be MENOPAUSE

Im 41 years old. Im 8 days late for periods, I experience a metallic saliva taste in the mornings, fatique, dizziness sometimes and Nausea but my beasts are okey no changes at all. Sometimes cramping and I even think I will see my periods in seconds but nothing. I have taken a home pregnancy test first thing today 13/04/2017 in the morning but it came out Negative. What do you think my problem is. I so worried, I have been trying for a second child for about 12 months now.
Help me, what could be wrong with me
