Anyone TTC after Nexplanon?
I need some advice or to hear at least some experiences from the rest of you girls who are having trouble getting pregnant. I used to be on the nexplanon implant from July 2016 to January 2017. I had not been on any type of birth control previously. I got my period one week after removal and started trying to conceive the day after my period ended. (I know my fertile days would have not been as soon as it ended since my period became irregular after removal). . i thought for sure we would get a BFP in late February/Early march but I got my period 03/08. We kept trying, and I thought the same, but got my period this morning. Has anyone reading this and TTC have any experiences with TTC after the nexplanon implant? Anything shared would be greatly appreciated. Thank you ????.

It is possible to conceive in the first month or even the first 3mos afterwards, but it is not untypical for it to take between three and 12 months to conceive. It all depends on your body adapting and your hormone levels returning to normal. That is an individual thing so don't get discouraged. I don't have a personal story, about Nexplanon specifically, but everything I've read says that fertility can come back almost immediately after removal and there are no long-term adverse affects to fertility. Im going through the exact same thing I had the nexplanon from dec 2014 to january of 2017 have had regular [periods and this is only my third cycle but the suspense is killing me so were in the same boat and i cant seem to find very many facts on getting pregnant after the nexplanon frustrating

I had it for the full 3years and it messed my thyroid and prolactin levels I highly recommend getting them checked out I'm ttc for nearly a year and nothing as I get irregular bleeding every month from it I hate what it's done to me it's been out 18months and I'm Still suffering from it ugh
