U will be 5 wks tomorrow. Every Sunday is another new week for u. U date the pregnancy from last period unless an ultrasound dates it differently. As of now, u are 4w6d pregnant.

Congratulations!!! Wonderful new! I agree with dakotagurrl. The first sonogram (which will be a transvaginal sonogram until you're 12 weeks along as per Doctor's date of estimated weeks). Also, as you get to the 35th week mark, that date can change again depending baby's progress, labor can be SOONER or LATER. When my pregnancy was confirmed my OB/GYN, she warned me to avoid alcohol, foods with nitrites (more than just cured meats and deli food, google what that is), fruits and veggies with pesticides, fish (like tuna) with mercury, and certain meds (ask your doctor, Google which ones) like Motrin and allergy and cold meds.
