Sounds like you're pregnant again! Essentially your body has had about 1 month to get rid of the HCG and being at 5 weeks with a natural miscarriage I'm guessing your levels probably were not super high. I had a MC on March 12th at 6w but baby measured closer to 5w. My HCG levels were low to begin with but I took a pregnancy test this past Monday just to test if there was any HCG in my system and it was very negative, not even a slight line and that's only a week after MC. So for you at 1 month later you should be starting any day or very possibly already pregnant.
On a side note, do you know when you ovulated? Was it different from you previous cycles? I'm trying to figure out when I may ovulate this time, like you I haven't had a true period following my MC but hear you are very fertile and have good chances of carrying after a MC. Most things I read say about 2 weeks after the day you began bleeding is when you will O. Best of luck I am eager to hear the outcome for you.

Well first morning is the most concentrated, doesn't have to be then necessarily. I would think if you did a hold and it came back positive then I would probably believe it. That doesn't mean you're not if you get a negative on a hold, just might not be showing up yet. Also, just had a thought, if you test again in a few days and the line is getting darker then you're pregnant, and if it fades then it is probably residual.
