Question

Expecting and have six month old daughter! Advice please!

Hey Ladies! I just found out I'm pregnant again and I have a six month old. I'm feeling so overwhelmed. I'm just so sad that my daughter won't be "the baby" anymore. She's so little still. Has anyone else experienced this emotion? When I found out I was pregnant I literally just cried because I'm so sad that my little baby won't get to be my little baby anymore.

Try not to think of it that way. She'll ALWAYS be your little baby (even when she's 50). Instead of looking at it like your daughter's lost her chance at having a babyhood, look at it from the perspective of all that you two will gain! Smother her with love over the next nine months and get her ready to help you with baby. She'll probably love to help you out (to the degree she can) when she's 15 - 18 months old with little "chores" such as fetching bottles or diapers; and when she's a bit older she won't need any dolls to pretend with, she'll have a living doll to feed and take care of! I am only about 7 months apart from my older sister. I can't tell you how awesome it was to have a best friend (sometimes enemy) that close in age to me. Today we're inseparable, even though we live in different States. So think of it that way. You're daughter and her new little sibling will be so close in age they may as well be twins :) Congratulations!
