This happened to me last month and my doctor said this can happen when your body is trying to ovulate but may be having some trouble/taking longer to get the message. He said that likely my last positive on day 4 was just residual LH since my body had basically produced an increased amount to make me ovulate. Your temps should be able to show you if you've already ovulated or not!

No need to worry, save ur tests and ur $$ and don't bother testing anymore. The first positive is the only one that matters anyway. Ur chart's looking good. U can boot ur O date back to the 2nd positive/last fertile cm day. The more +opk's u put in ur chart, the further this site moves their suggested O date.

Thank you ladies so much! I started testing and temping to make sure I was ovulating and Now I'm left wondering!! I guess we'll see with my temps and if I don't think I am, then it's back to the doctor I go!

And just becuz I know ur probably worried about the temp drop today ;) that's called a fallback rise. It happens in the 2-4dpo range, and should rise again tomorrow. Ur doing good, so far all signs are lining up for confirmation of O.

It's like you can read my mind! Yes, I was curious about my temp dip today. Fingers crossed that they keep rising!! By the way, how do you know so much about all this? Are you in the medical field?

OK so between your ovulation and your period, in the middle, you get a second surge of oestrogen (like you get when you ovulate). That would explain the positive ovulation tests.

Lol, I'm psychic (and temp drop is usually the next question asked). I was with EMS a few yrs ago, but now I'm strictly a mom. The charting is learned through experience, they don't teach that in school. I've been doing it for years, so I've come across A LOT of diff charts/patterns. Once u learn which hormones do what, temps make more sense...so will cm. =))

Goth, she's 2dpo, the mid-luteal surge isn't applicable at this point. This is still leftover from the initial surge.
