Can an evap line have color?
My last period lasted 2 days - march 4-6. I've been experiencing nausea, light to moderate cramps, mood swings, extreme fatigue, very tender BB's, weight gain and food cravings. I recently stopped taking birth control- I don't think it's related to that because I've stopped taking this same brand before (ortho tricyclen lo) and it didn't affect me one bit. My expected start date is April 3. I took a cheap HPT and the test seemed negative when I threw it away. Later, on a gut feeling, I pulled it out of the trash and saw a faint pink line. I took the test apart and there is definitely a very faint line with color. I was able to sort of wipe it off with my finger. (Yes, I washed my hands afterwards. I know it's gross). I'm trying to wait as long as possible to test again, but what do you think my chances are?

I'm still on the fence- I've been so tired and sick I haven't gone to the store for another test. However, I'm on day 17 of my cycle and I had EWCM this afternoon- which I know isn't a sure sign of ovulation, but it makes me wonder. I'll test in a week and update :) I'm still cramping and sore today- and we did the deed today too just in case we weren't already blessed lol.

I am in a similar boat!
I'm getting faint positives within the set time period but they grow darker after about ten minutes.
I am fairly sure that they aren't evaps. (fingers crossed)
I'm getting blood work done in a few days but the wait is killing me.
So Hopefully our chances are good.
Wiping it with your finger isn't gross!! I'm pretty sure that we all get a bit of baby fever and it's good to be sure.
Have you tried testing again or been to a doctor?
I'm interested to know how you go :)

Devines- I tested again a week after and it was negative, but I'm still feeling sick when my stomach is empty, my blue veins on my chest are more pronounced, and if it makes sense my areolas seem thicker although I'm not sure if they are any darker (im pretty pale). They also feel so heavy. Add that to the extreme fatigue im still having and I'm not sure I'm going to get my period in two days. I've had friends who didn't get their BFP until 8-9 weeks! So if it doesn't show, I'm going to the dr for a blood test. The only thing that makes me worry is that all of this comes and goes- some days I feel normal.
