Blood test neagtive... still no period. Help!!

I have 36 day cycles and I track my cycles like a crazy person and in my 18 years of having a period, I've never been this late. I'm currently 7 days late... and went to the doctor this morning for a blood test, which came back negative. Has this ever happened to someone who was actually pregnant??

you probably ovulated later this cycle. as long as the blood test says neg it is a neg. but maybe you have just ovulated and then whether af or positive will come later
