Question

Clockwork 29 day cycles but ovulation day changes according to BBT

First time to post a question here, been TTC for 10 months, I'm 34 and DH is 45, been charting for only 3 months and have clockwork 29 day cycles with 2 day periods since coming off BC last March. My question is is it normal to ovulate different days each month? OPKs frustrated me so I wanted to temp to see if I could pinpoint ovulation but the last three months its been CD 15, then CD 13 and this month it is now CD 17 and I still haven't had a temperature rise :(. It's frustrating as I thought with regular cycles you could at least count on ovulation days being near each other. Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat
