What is going on?!

Yesterday, I got a faint positive on the First Response Early Detection test. It was faint, but definitely visible within a few minutes. This morning, I tested again with the same test, and it is much lighter-I had to squint to see it almost. I tested again around lunch time just now and it is still lighter than yesterdays...what could this mean?

Could u have drank more water than usual - thus diluting the hcg concentration in your urine?
I know later that shouldn't have an effect, but maybe while the levels are low... This may be possible.
Try again tomorrow morn and let me know how u make out.
