Abnormal Bleeding
Hello
Long story short.
This month my period came 3 days early. Was lighter than usual and I had no period cramps which was weird but good!
I've been spotting ever since. My period started three weeks ago - lasted it's usually 4 days, I had no bleeding for 3 days, spotting since. My boyfriend and I thought we'd try having sex on Saturday because I hadn't spotted - and I bled everywhere. Was like I murdered a small animal.
That was 3 days ago. Tonight I have passed a very large clot. Not round but thick and long - about as long as my finger.
Doctors are currently doing hormone tests to see if I have an issue. We have been trying to get pregnant for a year.
I'm just scared. Never had this happen before. Has anyone got any insight?

Yeah I thought that. I'm still bleeding and passing large clots. My hormones are fine. I've been given tranexamic to help stop the bleeding but it's not working. Next step is a scan but doctor doesn't think it's endometriosis. I did ask and he said that aside from the fact I'm bleeding there's nothing else to suggest that's what I have. It's just very frustrating. Feel very unsexy.

I literally just went thru all that for the last 2 years. I bled for 8months straight. My dr said it wasn't heavy so he wasn't concerned and left it at that. I finally had enough and made another appointment and wouldn't you know, it stopped. I had 2 normal cycles and then it all started again so I went back to the dr. He tried hormone therapy and I was in hormones for 3 months. Because of the pills, I started hemorrhaging and bleeding so bad the dr decided to do a d&c. I was passing tissue and clots the size of my fist. Went thru countless ultrasounds and bloodwork and nothing came back abnormal besides scar tissue and small fibroids but with the d&c I'm all cleaned out. Have you ever had your thyroid checked or the pituitary glad?
