Question

Slowly Progressing HCG -- Need opinions and personal experiences, please

Ladies, I really need some input here. I finally got my BFP after 24 cycles. (Not the first, but the first that has stuck this long -- 5 chemical pregnancies in the past) (A little background: I am 39 with 3 daughters from my previous marriage [20,18,12] and this would be the first child for my husband. I am also only working with one functioning tube but very regular cycles and excellent egg count.)

My first HCG on 3/7 was 23. the second on 3/9 was 37, and the third on 3/11 was 53. I'm very concerned that it's not doubling as I've heard it's supposed to. Has anyone else had slow-rising HCG and went on to have a viable and healthy pregnancy? Or alternatively, does this indicate (in your experience) an ectopic or impending miscarriage? I have my first OB appointment tomorrow afternoon and I expect to hear one way or another. But I was hoping to hear some of your experiences today, if possible.

Thanking you in advance, as I am beside myself with worry.
