I made an ER trip just to confirm pregnancy and see how well the baby was doing that was on 2/17/2017 they checked my beta quant it was 200 they did a vaginal ultrasound and told me all that was seen was the gestational sac no fetal pole or yolk sac I was concerned so the following day went to another Er for a second opinion they checked my beta quant and it had went up to I believe 535 since then I have been going to the OB office that I was reffered to from the first ER visit they have been monitoring my beta HCG on 2/19/2017 my beta went up to like 2300 and something had another beta done on 2/28/2017 it was about 5500 as just had another one done on 3/08/2017 it went up to about 24000...now im in the process of switching care closer

I didnt expect to have an U/S during the U/S they had told me all they seen was a Gestational sac as the first ER doc told me according to this U/S the sac measured 15mm...my question is...is it a blighted ovum or maybe still to early to see a fetal pole or yolk sac?

with a hcg of 24000 one should long see an embryo with heartbeat.
the pole and sac are already seen with hcg of 1500-2000.
if nothing is seen you might need another US and probably a d&c. it does sound like a blighted ovum. sorry for your loss. hold on there

I'm confused as to your question. If they did an ultrasound and your hcg was just 200 on 2/17, and all they saw was a sac, that's perfect for the time. Your hcg keeps going up. Have you had another ultrasound from that point? At THIS point they should be able to see more but I dunno why they even did an ultrasound with an hcg of 200, you can't see anything then that's like 4 weeks pregnant.
