Start on the 8th***

I agree! Start about cycle day 8 and go every other day. Watch ur mucus, it should get slippery and clear. It can be stretchy, like raw egg whites, or clear and watery, or just clear and slippery (like when ur aroused). That's all fertile mucus. Once ovulation has taken place, that mucus will either turn white and creamy/lotion-like, or u dry up completely. U can stop sex then, if u want. U could also pick up some ovulation tests, and start using those around cd8. Once they're positive, it means ur body will attempt to ovulate in the next 12-48hrs. Ovulation tests and mucus are very good at predicting ovulation. If u wanna confirm, ur gonna need to read up on how to take ur bbt (basal body temperature) and start that asap. That requires u to have temps for most of ur cycle, esp the first half, before ovulation. The more tools u have in ur arsenal when ttc, the better ur chances.
