VERY strange situation..insight please !

I am really unsure what exactly is going on. The last 3 months, my cycle has been from 35-38 days. The longest I have ever gone was 44 days (keep in mind...). My last period began on January 19, 2017. I had unprotected sex on January 28th. I am not on birth control. According to my period app on my phone, my ovulation day is the 10th of February. I understand that I could get pregnant any time of my cycle...but by theory, I do not think I could get pregnant 12 days before ovulation. I was expecting my period to start on February 24th....I ALWAYS get tender breasts but this time around I have nothing. I have taken 5 pregnancy tests (including one this morning on day 40) and they all came back negative. I am tired, anxious, bad acne, and lower abdominal discomfort...minor cramps..dull achy pain. Lastly, just a disclaimer I had the flu 2 weeks ago, not sure if that would effect anything. It's been 17 DPO and 30 days after intercourse....someone please offer insight !

Well, as far as anything I've ever heard, you only have one small window in your cycle that you can get pregnant and that is during ovulation. Otherwise, the sperm has no where to go. So you cannot get pregnant at any point in your cycle. However, is it possible that you O'd late and that is why you are getting negative tests? Wait it out a week and test again, if still negative I would make an appointment with your doctor. Also, the flu is a dangerous virus and it very well can affect your body in many ways. Maybe it threw off your cycles.
