Question

Positive opk's 5dpo..Pregnant?

I have been having super dark positive opk's after ovulation day. I am positive I ovulated from opk tests and signs and symptoms that I always get on ovulation day. I am wondering if I could be pregnant due to some people say you can have positive opk's in the TWW period if pregnant? What do you think... I've had sore sensitive breast and some mild cramping since 3dpo. We BD up to 2x/day during my fertile window of 6 days.

Sorry, but that's just a normal surge. It's too early for implantation, and without that, u aren't pregnant. Give it a few more days and use a hpt.
Good luck! =))

No, the OPKs are probably still catching the hormone or you ovulated after you suspected. When you get your positive OPK, it means you will be ovulating within 12-36 hours, and not that you are ovulating right at that point. If you got a positive OPK, but didn't actually O for 2 days after, an OPK can still detect the hormone until the egg is released. At 5dpo, the fertilized egg wouldn't have even made it to the uterus yet. Your body cannot detect a pregnancy until the egg has implanted itself into the uterus. My best suggestion would be to wait it out and take a HPT after AF is due. Best of luck!!!
