It's uncommon for women with regular cycles to NOT be ovulating. That being said though, I have clockwork 29 day cycles and have been trying for 8 months! I've used OPK's the last 3 months and each month I have ovulated at a completely different time. Not sure how that happens? I was also told by my doctor to not bd until positive ovulation test. 8 months later I'm doing my own research and finding out that waiting that long basically counts us out for the cycle. So we're bding now and every day for the next 6 days, hoping to have a supply built up for O day. Hope this helps at all??

ovulation time is not a constant, go with the OPK and not with the calendar.
to get a positive on the OPK you need the test line be as dark as control, not just there. best is test twice a day not to miss the surge.
