Question

Positive Test Then Negative.

I had a pee early this morning. And thenow not again until 11:30 am or so. Which I decided to use a test. And sure enough it was a very faint positive. Showed up in about 2-3 mins. (Internet cheapie)

I am about 12 dpo. I am experiencing some minor cramping and spotting. And all the tests I took afterwards were very negative. Including a First Response.

So now I'm kind of worried if the first was a false positive. Due to the cramping, spotting and negative tests.

you should retest with fmu. when you test during the day your urine is diluted by the liquids you drink. so it is normal to get a positive in the morning and a negative later, when one is that early on. gl!

False positives are rare, no worries there. Try testing later today, u don't need to use fmu. Make sure u empty ur badder completely, then start ur hold. Little to no fluid intake, and hold 3 hrs or more. Time of day for testing really doesn't matter, it's hold time and fluid intake. I've never been able to use fmu for testing, it's so dilute becuz I drink a cpl cups of tea before bed. My smu is pretty kickass tho! =))
Cramping and spotting can go either way, tbh. It may not have implanted properly, and this is af trying to make her way in the picture. Or, it's just the usual early pregnancy cramps and some implantation spotting/bleeding. Unfortunately, that part is a wait 'n' see kinda thing. Sorry!
Stay positive! Good luck! =))
