Question

What Are The Odds?

I ovulated a few days later than I usually do. This is following a miscarriage so I wasn't surprised that my cycle was all off. However, my husband was out of town and we didn't get a chance to BD before the big day. The last time we did was about 6 days prior. I've heard conflicting stories about how long sperm can live - 5 days or 7 days, under ideal circumstances, being the maximum. Can anybody give me some actual facts, not just rumor, about how long sperm can live? Thank you!

Ur looking at about 5 days. Of course there is always the odd one that will pass 5 days, and many that won't even make it that far. It really depends on conditions etc, but 5 days is pretty much the max. Mayo clinic and WebMD both state 5 days.
Sorry for ur loss! Best of luck! =))
