Do you mean that your cycle length is 36 days? Typically women ovulate between days 11-21 of their cycle. Your cycle starts with the first day of your period. Are your cycles regular? You might want to get an ovulation test kit to determine when you ovulate, and can then figure out your fertile window from there.

the luteal phase - the time from ovulation to the period - lasts normally for 2 weeks. so if you have a regular 36 day cycle you most probably ovulate between cycle day 20-24.
