7-8 luteal phase. Do i have a chance of getting pregnant without help from a fertility doctor?
I just recently started trying for #3. This is my first month using the clearblue ovulation kit. I was going off thia app that told me when i should ovulate but looka like that app isnt correct. I got my period on jan 28. I got my solid smiley face on feb 15. Looks like im due for my next period on feb 24. They say once u get a solid smiley face u ovulate in the next 12 to 48 hrs. So i figured i ovulated the 17th. So i figured my liteal phase is 8 days. Is that enough time inbetween. Ive been reading on the internet that even if it does happen. I could miscarry because of progestin?? Is this tru?? I do have 2 other children. And have never miscarried. So im abled to carry. But im older now and im just worried its gonna be hard to conceive this time. Since ive been trying for a few months and nothi g yet. Any advice woukd be helpful

The important thing is not when your app tells you you will have the period, but when you actually have it. If your period comes on 24th, then yes, your short luteal phase might be a problem. I had the same - a luteal phase of 8-9 days. I just took 200 mg progesterone from 2 dpo until 13 dpo and problem solved. I got pregnant on the third cycle with progesterone.
However, chances are your app is wrong and your period will arrive later. In that case you wont have to worry. Good luck! :)

yayaya is right - you cannot deduce your luteal phase length before you even had your period.
one ovulates c. 36 hours after the surge begins - since you do not know started it is safe to assume you ovulated on 16. it may well be that your period comes on 30, 2 weeks later, just wait a couple of cycles.
luteal phase deficiency can only be diagnosed by blood test a week after ovulation.
