Cycles after ectopic = hell!!

Hi ladies, I have an ectopic pregnancy in September 2016. Waited the standard three months after treatment to try agin and cycles have been hell! Ranging between 34-39 days and ovulating around 21-26. This month I've had crazy severe cramps, spotted for a week before actual Aunt Flo. Just wondered if anyone who had ectopic has had anything similar? Will these crazy periods settle soon?! Any advice appreciated lovelies :) also am I ovulating too late for anything to be able to attach in time?
