It's hard to say, unfortunately, ur gonna have to wait and see.
I had a mc at 7wks that started out as brown spotting, only after using the toilet. I didn't have betas done, but tests kept getting darker and CB made it to 3+, which it never did with my DD. That spotting carried on til 6w6d, then it was just a flood that nite. Zero cramping the entire time. I really thought it was gonna be ok (til the bleed). My OB sent me to the ER the next am and an U/S revealed an empty uterus. With my son, I had brown cm after every bathroom trip that carried on til 8wks, then got a bit heavier, but still just brown spotting. At 10wks, I jumped in the shower, and after a few minutes, started bleeding heavily. I went to the ER, they did bw and an U/S, he was happily flopping around in there, and I had a large subchorionic hemmorhage. It really can go either way at this point. Sorry I couldn't give u a definitive answer.

Thank you for the input. I've had 5 miscarriages total. But never had brown spotting. All of mine started out with bright red blood and cramping, then almost immediately went to pouring blood and clots. Sorry if TMI. This is just a new experience for me.

Oh I hear ya! I had a CP before and after the MC, and they were both heavy flow and cramping. My son was the only of my 3 kids that I've had any spotting or bleeding. It's not a very nice feeling, scary is a good word to describe it.
Do u have a doctor appt coming up? See if u can have more bw done, it might help ease ur mind...or give u an idea of what's going on. The early weeks shouldn't be this nerve wracking!!

Looks like I'm headed for a miscarriage. I'm pouring blood and cramping. Going to the ER, but I know it's over. I took another pregnancy test this morning and it was barely positive. Yesterday I was getting positives on a digital. I'm so sad.
