Can a uti cause a miscarriage

I'm 5+1 and I think I have a uti, doctors have taken urine sample. Will it cause me to mc?

I'm just getting over a mc that happen on the 6/1/17 very worried it could cause me to lose this pregnancy.

Any stories were the outcome was fine?

Hello,

I do not believe a UTI can cause a MC. I know a couple women who's first pregnancy symptoms were a UTI. Both went to the doc and that is where they found out they were pregnant and both had successful pregnancies.

I just had a positive pregnancy test while having a UTI. I don't believe a UTI causes miscarriage, however, you should get this treated ASAP so it doesn't turn into a kidney infection. Macrobid is a safe antibiotic during pregnancy. Best wishes.

Ok I'm waiting on results bk from the doctors and feeling very impatient, I don't know weather to wait for the results or go the NHS centre.
