Question

+ hpt on 2/3 and followed up 6 days later with a strong + opk two days in a row. pain in right tube?

Doc appointment today and very nervous for her possible dreaded "you're not pregnant" answer. This is the most confusing/mentally exhausting part of TTC any woman can go through. If i took a positive hpt and 6 days later tried the opk "method" and tested 2 opk's- both of them were very positive for two days, i'm also experiencing very hard menstrual cramping on right side and some pain in lower back that goes down to my hip/upper thigh. I might have been just ovulating, but what about the + hpt. I was scared to test again- avoiding possible heartbreak. Anyone have any insight?

the opk tests do not distinguish between LH and HCG. so if you are pregnant they will always be very positive.
you are pregnant, congrats.

Update. Apparently an ovarian cyst on my right side- explains the pain I've been having, can give you the same pregnancy symptoms as well as a positive hpt! Go figure. I'm done
