Question

Pregnant a month after a chemical?

I had an early chemical pregnancy on the 3rd of January and had a six day bleed following negative results after previous positives. All of my very strong pregnancy symptoms went away and my partner and I were devastated. My doctor advised us that it's ok to keep trying and that it happens to a lot of couples, there's no reason why we couldn't try straight away.

On the 4th February, after experiencing the exact same symptoms as the month before and they were getting more intense, I took a test and had a faint but very definite positive, in fact it was more obvious than the first time around despite still being faint. I did another one this morning and it is still there. My partner and I are very cautious and are really trying not to get too excited, but is it possible to be pregnant this quickly after a chemical? I thought it would take at least a few months. It's very difficult to believe its real...
