Question

Cyst Rupture.

Hi Ladies,

Ok, this is my second month of trying again after my m/c last spring, and on the 16th which was cycle day 12 for me, I had the worst pain in my left ovary that left me on the toilet vomiting and my husband scared out of his mind. about 15 minutes later, the pain subsided, and we went back to bed. The next morning, I had a little spotting that lasted one wipe of toilet paper, and have been fine since. So, come to find out I had a follicle cyst that had ruptured (no wonder I haven't been able to conceive for a few months). Few days later, cycle day 16, I get the familiar ovulation pain two days past my regular 14 day ovulation that was on my right ovary. So, my question is when did I ovulate? Was the painful cyst rupturing my egg releasing? Or was it day cycle day 16? I'm SO confused, and just another question (if anyone may happen to know) When follicle cyst rupture, is it releasing any eggs that hasn't been released?

if it was a cyst then it formed because you did not ovulate one of the previous cycles and it contains the remains of an "old" egg and fluid - so it cannot produce a fresh egg. meaning you rather o'ed on cd16
