Question

CD11 26x24mm follicle is good?

I'm on first round of clomiphene citrate (50mg twice a day), N Acytylcysteine and astaxanthin (600mg) from day 3 to 7.
Last cycle I had very small follicle on both ovaries till cd16. The sonologist remark it as "Poly-cystic tendencies in both ovaries". It is the reason for clomid & NAC intake.
This month on CD 11 I went for ultrasound scan. Endometrium measures 9.2mm, 26x24mm follicle in right ovary and tiny follicles in left ovary.
Is it good?
They asked me to come on CD 14 for u/s scan and for HCG trigger shot.
I feel nervous about the follicle size. 26mm on CD11 is ideal? Do I ovulate?
Pls comfort me with your positive thoughts

I don't understand your dr's strategy here. A follicle is mature at 18mm or bigger with an estrogen level of 200 or more. Given your lining thickness of 9.2 I can imagine that the estrogen is already at 200 or more which would mean your follicle is ready for the trigger shot now. Did you ask about your estrogen level? Waiting with the trigger shot longer than necessary can make a follicle postmature - yours is already quite large. It's possible that you will ovulate on your own prior to you next scan, so be prepared. Start bd now! Best wishes and good luck :)
