When should I test again?

Last lmp was dec 27th, cycles normally every 28 days.
Due to being so busy, we only did the deed once on the 9th of Jan.
Tested yesterday and bfn. Have been super teary the last few days and have wicked bloating and indegestion.
Am just wondering when it's worth testing again? Or should it be bfp already?
