Question

Breastfeeding and AF

I am exclusively breast feeding my 4 month old. The past few days, I have had what feels like menstrual pains, along with mood swings, nausea and also quite a painful sensation that I can only describe as "feels like my womb is falling out"! I know that ordinarily, ;your periods don't return until you stop breastfeeding or if you have a 7hrs +window where baby doesn't feed...but my little one feeds constantly, more the past week but we are bd'ING without protection as we would love another baby. Also, my periods didn't return until 2 months after I stopped breastfeeding with my other child. So I am really confused.....is af trying to comeback or is it simply my womb responding to my baby's constant feeding. She sometimes goes 5hrs at night without a feed but the rest of the time it is very much every two hours or more. Thoughts please. Thank you

Thank you. .....the af pains have gone now, no show of period, other pain also gone and now just have nausea so I am guessing that my body is just trying to get back to normal......we shall see! X

I breastfed my daughter and still got my period literally at my 6 week post delivery check up.
