Ovulating twice??

Positive opk 6 days ago, another positive opk just now. I've had 6-8 negatives in between. Is it possible to ovulate twice in a cycle? I've never had such a dark positive opk in my life!
This cycle is so weird. I'm normally 32-35 days and this positive today is on cd60! Negative hpt's for weeks now.

What gives?!

it is possible to have a second surge (many women get it before the period) - the egg is released only with the first true surge

Two thoughts: one, for some people, OPK kits don't work for you. Two, are you taking Clomid? That can give false positives. I worked with a fertility clinic after we found out I had false positives. From then on, they only did blood ovulation tests.

Not taking clomid, but I did get a THIRD positive opk the day before yesterday. I have an OB appt tomorrow to discuss it. Thanks.
