It deprives the baby of oxygen, which can cause all sorts of problems in utero and after birth. If ur a smoker, and pregnant (or not, yet), u need to do everything u can to quit. It's gonna be hard, but u need to do it for u and ur baby.
Here's a great link, straight from the CDC, read over it and decide if it's worth the risk. At the end of the day, the decision is urs and urs only.

Very bad. Linked to smaller babies, lung problems in babies, and early labor. I'd do everything to quit before you even get pregnant if you can.
