How long does it take for your HCG levels to go to 0 after a D &C?
I had a d&c at 10wks 4 days about 4weeks ago. I feel fairly normal again. I neverdid a HPT afterwards bc I didn't think about it and my doctor never mentioned anything about possible leftover hormones. She just said in 4 weeks I should get my period. After reading stories today I decided to test and a faint but very visible second line showed up midday no holds pee. I'm shocked about this second line. Is this left over HCG from the mc still??? I feel pretty much normal just some weight to loose still. We have DTD unprotected quiet a bit, but we used the pull out method. I figure I have another week until my period comes. Thoughts and advice please.

I'm struggling with this right now. D&c 7 weeks ago- we were almost 12 weeks along when baby passed away. I had 2 bleeds I thought might be my period, and read same thing. Not sure what test your using- first response continually gives "faint but
obviously there" pink lines. After week of positive tests, I had another heavy bleed & passed small amt of tissue. Week later still positive test so doc ordered ultrasound & beta. U/s confirmed no tissue left & beta of 2! He said should be neg/0 by time period starts & those tests are very sensitive. Hope this helps.
