Question

is it safe to take prenatals, b vitamin complex and d vitamins when ttc

have been ttc for 8 years have had 3 losses most recently in Jan 2016. I have actively started trying after my most recent loss about 2 months ago. I have been taking prenatals along with a b vitamin complex and d vitamins on a daily basis (is this a safe combination) is my first question. I have been tracking my cycles in an app since April of 2016 and the app stated i was fertile as of two days ago i went and got a few opks yesterday and it was pos. also pos. today. i also had a pinching pain in my right ovary the day before yesterday. Would you say i most likely did ovulate or am currently?? I am so lost after all of the failed attempts and just desperate for answers.

I asked my fertility doctor when I first saw him if it was safe to take vitamin D and B12 and prenatal, and the answer is absolutely yes. You should be taking a prenatal if you are trying to conceive, and all most women now a days are low on vitamin D. I take a prenatal vitamin, vitamin D 5,000 iu twice daily, and vitamin B12 every now and then. It will not only help you feel better, but provide all the needed nutrients you need to have a healthy start for pregnancy !! P.S. I am also a nurse.. so remember it is always a good idea to talk to your doctor before starting any new medication. But a prenatal and vitamin D is 100% safe ! Baby dust you to you !
