First AF 01/04/17 after depo and miscarriage 08/08/2016
Okay so I had my first AF in 5 months after miscarrying and depo shot. It started on the 4 of January stopped on the 7th&8th after that I only had brown dc. Im usually whole 7 days no breaks and heavy. My question is have anybody ever ovulated while on their AF and how long did u wait to take a test? I had sex for those 2 days and all the days leading up to my AF.

I'm in the same boat. First AF after a miscarriage and it's all over the place, nothing like usual. I've been told that the first one can be really weird, and that ovulation can occur at any point during the first cycle as well. I suppose it's possible to ovulate while AF is visiting for the first time after a miscarriage. As for how long to test though... I have no idea. For sanity's sake I'm assuming I'm not pregnant this cycle and I'm going to wait until a week after my next scheduled visit from AF before I take a test. I'm too excited for a BFP, and it'd be too heartbreaking to have a BFN show up right away.
