Need advice on what to do next.

Hey ladies I'm hoping that I can get some really good advice from you out there. I have gone through my first cycle of Clomid 50 mg days 5 - 9 after taking Norethindrone Acetate 5mg twice a day. I thought for sure I would have ovulated on this however when I went to go get my progesterone tested through blood work I was only at 0.06%. Which means I did not ovulate on the Clomid. My doctor wanted me to take Norethindrone Acetate 5mg once a day for 10 days now and I am just concerned as to why it went from twice a day for 5 days to know once a day for 10 days. Is there another option besides Clomid out there that has helped you ladies ovulate if the Clomid didn't work? I have had 2 miscarriages in the past and since my last miscarriage my cycle has been very unpredictable. So I've not been getting "true bleeds" and my cycles have been anovulatory. If there was anything out there that helps you ladies conceive quicker or help you ovulate please let me know. Thank you!
