Late ovulation
Last month was my first cycle off the pill. As clockwork 14 days from period was very strong ovulation symptoms. Period was due 20th of December. Took a test 4 days before expected period with clearblue easy. Giving me a faint positive. And each day still same faint line. Came on expected period the night of 20th.
This month predicted ovulation was Tuesday 3rd. But I experienced fertile cm the following friday for one day only. No cramps on top. Confused!
Then out of curiosity got some ovulation tests, showed I was at my peak on Friday just gone!? It's 9 days until expected period and very confuse s at my ovulation. It couldn't of been when I experienced cm and obviously wasn't the Tuesday after. Must of been when the ovulation test predicted. But is that too late in a cycle? Will this throw my period out?

do not trust calendaric calculations, trust opk!. the af is supposed to start 14-15 days after the ovulation, so if ovulation is cd 20 then one should expect a 34-35 day cycle.
you can test from 11-12 days after ovulation (ovulation happens c. 36 hrs after the surge is detected by the opk, so if the surge was on friday you ovulated on 1/7 or 1/8), but use pink dye tests, the blue dye tends to shine through or leave evaps after a while, can be confusing
