Help with confusing ovulation signs please?

Hi, this is the first month I've tried actively charting to ttc, also have been using opks.
Temps CD 2-13 between 36.3 and 36.5C
CD 14 positive opk, temp 36.4C, watery cm
CD 15 positive opk, temp 36.4C watery cm
CD 16 negative opk, ovulation pain, temp drop 36C
CD 17 negative opk, temp rise to 36.9C, ewcm
CD 18 negative opk, temp 37C, tons of ewcm
CD 19 negative opk, temp 36.9C 'dry'
Fertility friend said I ovulated on CD 16, which is normal for me with 30 day very regular cycles.
I'm super confused that I've been getting ewcm for two days after Ff and I felt pains that I ovulated.
Can anyone help? I feel like I ovulated on CD 16 but only got ewcm after this date?

I think the opk will be positive a day or two before your egg is actually released, because that is when the lutenizing hormone rises which is detected on the test. Once the hormone reaches its peak the egg will be released and this can take 2-3 days. You may also feel ovulation pain when the follicule swells to beginning releasing the egg. That could explain that you had ewcm CD 17 and CD 18 which is when your egg priobably was released instead of CD 14 and CD 15. It is still best to have intercourse 2-3 days before the egg is actually released anyway because it can take 24-48hrs for the sperm to swim up to the Fallopian tube and you want the sperm there waiting for the egg as the egg is only viable for 24hrs.
