Question

Clomid and clearblue advanced opk

Hey ladies, hope someone has some relevant experience on this.

Bought CB advanced opk (dual hormone indicator). On the instructions it says that clomid might give false positive on the high fertility component but should not affect the peak. Sounds fine to me.
So I took Clomid for the first time this cycle, days 3 to 7. On cd9 I did the first CB test (set the baseline). Cd10 to 11 I get empty circle. Cd 12 I get solid smile without going through the flashing smile in between. To be sure, I compared with a standard CB opk which also gave me a smile (same day but different urin sample).
I really thought this is false positive because I usually get sore nipples at ov time, and had no soreness at all this time. CM was watery but no EWCM. In the meantime CM dried out.
I haven't been temping because I have been having restless sleep and from previous cycles, I learned that I just suck at temping. :p
I am now cd 17 and opks are showing negative at this point.
I am clueless. :(

with clomid, one usually ovulates about a week (5-8 days) after the last pill, so in your case cd 12-15, so sounds quite probable that you did ovulate on cd 13 (with the surge on cd 12, a day before)
sore nipples come - when - then after the ovulation, from progesterone, but it does not necessarily happen each cycle
