Is the progesterone level high for 8 days past ovulation?

was it a qualitative or a quantitative test? you need a quantitative one to know exactly the numbers. 8dpo hcg still maybe at c. 5 miu which would be judged negative on a yes/no scale but possible positive on numeric scale. in my clinic they would not draw blood before 13dpo.

progesterone always rises during the luteal phase, we do not know what numbers you usually have on 8dpo so would not think too much about it. the number is good if pregnancy has to be sustained and means nothing if there is no pregnancy

The HCG was less then 1.2

i would retest in 3-4 days - sometimes the implantation just starts on 8-9 dpo in that case you would have no hcg yet, does not mean you are not pregnant though

The most common time to implant is 9 DPO so you wouldn't get a positive until 11 DPO at the earliest. The progesterone number is good in terms of confirming you definitely ovulated. Good luck for retesting:)
