Question

Multiples after Miscarriage?

I was pregnant with triplets. The first two died at only a few weeks gestation, the last one made it to 10 weeks before passing. Part of me wants to wait to get pregnant again, but I had heard your chances of a multiple pregnancy increases after miscarriage because of the increase in hormones (which is why you have greater odds of a multiple pregnancy if you're still breast feeding too, I think that's what happened this time). If that's the case, I may not want to wait too long. Has anybody heard about that or experienced a multiple birth after miscarriage?

i do not think miscarriage changes odds for multiples (it does not influence the way ovaries work but only makes the implantation easier because of the lining quality) - but persons who were once pregnant with multiples do have higher chances of getting pregnant with multiples again.
