Bleeding, then BFP one morning, then BFN the next morning - could this have been chemical?
AF is due Nov. 19, and I think I may have had a chemical pregnancy, but it all happened so fast. Any info is appreciated:
On Nov. 16 I tested in the AM and in the PM, I also started bleeding in the PM. Both tests (wondfo): BFN
On Nov. 17 I continued to bleed, tested twice in the AM (wondfo & FRER): both showed faint BFP
By the eve of Nov. 17, wondfo tests showed BFN. Today (Nov. 18) both wondfo and FRER show BFN.
The bleeding was heavier than what I would term spotting, but not as heavy as normal flow. It has nearly stopped now, as if I had a very short 36 hour af.

My chemical last cycle was heavy bleeding 5 days. I had a faint positive 2 days before expected period, then even fainter almost non-existent morning I started bleeding (15dpo 1 day late) I started bleeding that night. Could have been a faulty bfp? If it was blue dye or didn't show up in time frame. My chemical I bled a ton

I had a cp in may. I knew I was pg. Mostly due to my aversion to smell. The 10mui tests were positive from 8dpo. I got other tests that were 20 and 25 mui although the line was there it wasn't progressing and I just knew I was having a cp. Yet the symptoms were strong. On the day my period was due the tests lines were weaker and I couldn't get a line on a 50 mui test. I'd been getting back pains which turned out to be a kidney infection which also turned out to be the reason I had a loss. My period arrived 2 days late when I had no choice but to start antibiotics. Even the 10 mui tests were then negative. My errors had been very heavy and painful up til then. That period was light and pain free surprisingly. It ended early than usual too. I came back on 21 days later like normal.

Thanks for sharing your experience AngelVRD, I'm sorry you lost that one. This was my first experience with a lost pregnancy, and definitely had ups and downs there. I ended up going to the Dr the following day so they could check for ectopic. By the time they gave me a blood test I didn't have enough HCG to be considered pregnant and they said I was ok to keep trying as normal, and could treat the bleeding as a period. It was definitely lighter and shorter than most periods and almost no cramps at all.
Maybe I'll get a belated Christmas present of a BFP in Jan, fingers crossed. Wish you all happy holidays and happy news soon! <3
