Question

Positive OPK CD11?! Please help.

I was hoping someone might be able to offer their insight/opinion as to why I just received a +OPK today, CD11 when I usually don't get one until CD 13? I tested at 4:30pm and hadn't gone to the bathroom at least 4 hours prior and had limited liquid intake.

By way of background, my last three menstrual periods have been as follows:

- October 13, 2011
- September 17, 2011
- August 20, 2011

Fairly regular, and for this cycle I averaged it out to assume that I have a 27 day cycle and could possibly ovulate on CD13, but of course I haven't been temping. Should probably try that next cycle. DH and I have BD'd every other day since CD 7 using Preseed each time.

I just don't understand how AF ended on CD5 and here I am on CD11 and received my first +OPK (tested yesterday twice and both were negative). Is this considered bad news since I'm TTC#1?

Thanks in advance!!

I'm in the same boat as you. My lmp was Oct 15. I ovulated on day 7 this cycle. I did as well when I conceived my first son.
