I'm taking a prenatal vitamin as I'm trying to conceive. Could this be giving me my UTI symptoms?
I'm taking a prenatal vitamin as I'm trying to conceive. Could this be giving me my similar symptoms to a UTI? Went two weeks ago for a really painful one but the test came out negative but was still prescribed antibiotics because there was blood in urine. Now my UTI symptoms are returning and I'm worried. Only thing I can guess is that the acid from the vitamins is irratating my bladder and urethra? I don't drink much soda and have been watching my water intake. Also AF came ???? So I know I'm not pregnant.

i don't think that can be from the vitamins (unless you are taking some obscure supplements with unknown chinese herbs, these can cause anything), but of course cystitis is not necessarily caused by an infection. if this continues i'd go to the urologist, could be e.g. "sand" in the bladder, would explain blood in urine, too.
