Question

Is this a misscarriage?

Okay, girls im very confussed!
So i got my BFP at 4 weeks, now i"m 7 weeks along.
I go to the doctor next week (when im 8 weeks).
I just took my last test just because it was laying around.
It come back BFN, okay (it was in the afternoon). wouldn't my hcg levels be high now? So does this mean my levels are going down? or Could it be and error? Has this happen to anyone else? Could this be a sign of a misscarriage?

PS: I Thank anyone for there input. opinions are welcome!

have you tested in-between? was your pregnancy confirmed by a sonogram/blood test? chemical pregnancies are not that infrequent.
on the other hand i have read that sometimes when hcg is very high it gets too concentrated for the hpt to show anything and false negatives come up, so one could try diluting the urine and retry.
so anything is possible... hold on there!

When I was around 6 weeks pregnant, I was still testing because I tried for years and was paranoid after my first ended in a chemical pregnancy. I noticed the tests started getting lighter. I was freaking out! Turns out, when your hcg gets too high, the tests can become negative. One thing you can do if you have a bunch of cheap tests like I did, is try to dilute your urine with water. The test will be darker. The other case would be that you are no longer pregnant, but I am hoping the first is the reason for your test being negative.
