Question

6wks 5days 1 sac 2 yokes no fetal pole

I went for my first ultrasound today and I am a bit nervous now. The sonogram tech said there was 1 sac and 2 yokes but no fetuses in either. I am hoping it is just too early. At one point there was questions about when I ovulated thinking I ovulated late in my cycle which to me would mean the babies have had less time to grow so maybe the actual fetal development is off a few days or maybe even a week. She also said there is a delay in identical twins when they split so maybe that could be why. I have had my blood tested 4 times now and it seems to be going good.
11/9 hcg 41 progesterone 70.6
11/14 hcg 350 progesterone 90.2
11/21 hcg 4130 progesterone 80.1
11/26 hcg 16437 progesterone 66.1

is this normal? Anyone else with anything similar? Could this be a molar pregnancy?

your blood looks ok for a singleton pregnancy, check http://www.wantbaby.info/calculators/beta-hcg-levels and betabase.info. i would not count on twins, but who knows... gl

They already said it was identical twins. Just hoping it was too early to see the babies.

I had no fetal pole at 6 weeks but now he's a healthy 20 month old baby.
